Knox College

Knox College became a client of mapformation in March 2006, after approximately six months of discussions regarding potential projects. mapformation was hired to develop a very unique map of the campus area. Rather than creating a map of what is presently located on the property, our firm has been asked to develop a map of historic Galesburg as it appeared in 1858. Old photos of buildings that are no longer standing, as well as digital photos of a 1930s model of the area prior to the Civil War are being used to develop the map, which was completed in September 2006.
